Photographers/Raimon Santacatalina

His admiration and respect for nature came to him from childhood, traversing the Pyrenees, hiking through fields and natural areas with his parents and his brother. He received by his father at 15 years his first camera, a Pentax Asahi Spotmatic SP II. His penchant for nature photography begins in 2006, when Raimon purchased his first digital SLR camera, a Canon EOS 10D, and a pair of low-end Sigma lenses. In 2010, he became a member of AEFONA (Spanish Association of Nature Photographers) and in 2017 WWF (World Wide Fund for Nature) with whom he collaborated with his photographs. Raimon practices all the photographic disciplines (fauna, macro, landscape, night ...) always in relation with the nature. His photographs have been published in magazines, books, audiovisual documents, etc. He has also obtained some honors in national and international competitions.
