Contaminated eggs in Ile-de-France
The ARS Ile de France recommends no longer consuming eggs from domestic chicken coops. Measurement campaigns throughout the region have shown very high egg contamination, up to 50 times the commercial standard in the poultry houses tested. Persistent pollutants such as dioxins, furans and PCBs come from incinerators, but the pollution, although centered around them, extends over the entire urban area of the region.
