Longji ride

Longji rice fields are located in southern China between the villages of Ping'An and Dazhai, at an altitude between 300 and 1100 meters. You must pay a fee to enter the valley to access the site. A hike of five to six hours between the two villages allows to discover the landscapes of rice terraces, the forest, but also deforestation areas and other less tourist villages. Walking around is very practical in these villages where driving is impossible because the streets are very narrow and steep, some even have stairs. The rice fields are located between 300 and 1100 m altitude. it is the Chinese Miao minority who live there, in houses built of wood.
